Get Involved

Five smiling campaigners in ordinary clothes holding 60 second surveys

Like all Green Party groups, South and Vale Green Party is run by volunteers. We all have the same thing in common: we want to make our local areas greener, fairer and healthier. We are active all year round - not just during election time.

Our members are teachers, parents, musicians, artists, IT engineers, medics, cleaners, students, charity workers, librarians... You certainly don't need to be an expert in climate policy to join us! We want everyone to feel confident about getting involved in the issues that matter to our local communities, whatever your background.

You can join the Green Party on the national Green Party website. When you sign up as a national member you automatically become a member of both Oxfordshire and South and Vale Green Party.

Or you can choose to be a local supporter. You don't have to commit lots of time to make an important contribution - all help makes a valuable difference!

We know how to win elections – and we need your help to do it. Once you’ve filled in the form, we’ll be in touch about getting involved.

Volunteer roles include:

If you're interested in finding out more about any of these roles, please complete the Volunteer Sign Up Form and one of our team will get back to you. You don't have to be a member of The Green Party to volunteer your time with us.

Alternatively, we're always happy to have a chat by phone if you'd like to help but aren't sure how.

Please get in touch if you have any questions or specific access needs.
